When you see the sky, what do you see? A blue sky? Freedom? Future of expectation? The people of Tokyo do not see any of these. Instead, an inauspicious exotic madarship overhead, attachs the city’s skyscape.
Three years ago, they came. The arrival of “invaders” faced the greatest war humanity – one that threatened to end the world. The Japanese government scrambled to fight the invaders. Weapons were produced on a large scale, disputed disputes and pacifying movements.
That day, everything changed. And yet, nothing has changed. Kadod Koyama and Onhain Nakagawa live on their last day as they are always: going to school, playing with friends, and what will any careless high school girl do.
As they grow up, they learn what really means to be an adult, in a world where adults feel that only cheats and destroy. They come to learn that the real danger to humanity is not an invader, but humanity.
