Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf

With a cartload of fur pelts in Tow, travel trader stops by the village of Craft Lawrence Paslo. Centuries ago, according to local folklore, one of the villagers made a promise with the Wolf deity Holo, who vowed to bless Paslo with plenty of wheat harvesting. Nevertheless, as time passed, such stories were slightly more than the remains of the past.

After finishing its business in the village quickly, Lawrence leaves for its next destination. Their journey, however, takes an unexpected turn when she sleeps between a naked, animal-ear-girl among her pelts. Even more surprisingly, young-looking woman claims to be the Holo-The Wolf of Legend.

Holo wishes to return to her hometown in the north, and although her first encounter is Rocky, she convinces Lawrence to accompany her on her journey. In turn, he vowes to keep his new partner in his behavior using his quick intellect and lifetime experience. As they continue their journey, Lawrence and Holo take advantage of whatever economic occasions they come on, often get into situations that put both their business skills and their relationship for testing.
